We enjoyed the cold, rainy day by playing a long game of Monopoly.
Kevin broke out his trusty, old poker table top. I've gotten use to that large, very heavy accessory being a part of my life.
Nina did really well at first! She bought up all four railroads. She had the most money for a long time. She finally got bored after an hour or so of playing.
The kids love game time. Dallas loves not wearing clothes.
Somehow over the years and over our six moves....we lost some of the pieces. So we had to improvise. This was Aidan. And Daddy was Santa Clause.
We had to keep Dallas busy with Lego guys. Every time he came to the table he asked where his money was. I might have been slipping it into my stash... ; ) He did really well though. This is probably the first time we have successfully played a game together since he has been born!
He finally realized he was cold and asked for a "girt".
I bet you won't be surprised to hear that Kevin won. Aidan and I teamed up at the end and helped each other out until I finally got frustrated and quit!
Aidan wanted me to take a picture of his second place winnings. He decided it was time to bow out and accept his fate.
He was a real trooper.
And it turned out to be a lovely, rainy day.
