Colvard Academy

What a lovely day it is today!! I love these warm fall days. Nina and I decided to do our reading outside.  This is one of the things I love about homeschooling!

You'd think it was summer time!  We got hot sitting in the sun.

This is how I keep Dallas busy when we do school.  Two year olds these days....

Fillings for Nina

Nina had to get two cavities filled today.  This is her waiting to go in.  She's being so brave.

Getting numb...

I can think of about 100 things I would rather be doing than this!  I took this picture with the new "Smart Shoot" app on my phone and it came out really nicely! 

Poor girl.  She did great and got a couple of prizes.

  

Firepit Fun!

 I posted these the other day on FB so you might have seen them but I just wanted to start my new blog with them!


Kevin built a great, little campfire in our back yard.  The kids immediately thought of hot dogs and smores!






 


I made sure I got in the pictures.  Mom is always behind the camera...

Nina's hair is getting so long....  She looks really pretty in blue, I think.

 I really do love him.  The little stinker.... : )

Kevin's beard is coming in nicely.  A lot more white hairs in it than there were last time. ; )

Dallas was really into the marshmallows.  I'm not sure how many he had at the end of the night.











 Fun was had by all! Things like this make me feel like a good mom. A fun mom.  Maybe they will remember these good times and not the times that I am less proud of...
